OUR EVENTS

Explore upcoming meetings, inspiring speakers, and meaningful opportunities to connect, serve, and make a difference throughout the Long Beach Peninsula and Pacific County.

CHECK US OUT

Rotary is really about people coming together to do good in ways that are easier, and a lot more fun, when you do them as a group. Whether we’re helping with a roadside cleanup, keeping our beaches beautiful, supporting local families, or lending a hand with a community project, we make it simple to get involved without feeling like the whole responsibility is on you. You show up, pitch in, meet good people, and leave knowing you helped make the Long Beach Peninsula and Pacific County a little better.

Our meetings are just as much about connection as they are about service. They’re a chance to meet local community leaders, hear from interesting speakers, learn more about what’s happening around Pacific County, and get to know the people behind the projects. If you’ve ever wondered what Rotary is really like, come check us out. You may find a clean, safe, welcoming, and fulfilling way to connect with your community, and have a good time doing it.

You don’t need a special title, a certain background, or a huge amount of free time to be part of what we do. There are many ways to support local Rotary service projects, from volunteering at a community cleanup or food drive to attending a meeting and simply learning more. Start wherever you’re comfortable, get to know us, and see how Rotary can help you become more connected to the Long Beach Peninsula community while making a positive local impact.

CALENDAR

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Community engagement is at the heart of what we do. Our club meets twice each month, giving members and guests a welcoming place to connect, share ideas, hear from local speakers, and learn more about the needs and opportunities within our community.

Beyond our meetings, we take part in hands-on service projects such as roadside cleanups, beach cleanups, and other local efforts that help care for the Long Beach Peninsula and Pacific County. Whether you are ready to volunteer, meet new people, or simply learn more about Rotary, we would be glad to have you join us.

FOOD BANKS

Our food collection efforts help support local families by gathering nonperishable food donations outside area grocery stores and delivering them directly to local food banks. Every donated item helps provide dependable access to groceries for neighbors who may be facing difficult times.

There are many ways to take part, whether you donate a few items, volunteer at a collection event, or help spread the word. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference, and we would be grateful to have you join us in helping keep local food bank shelves stocked.

CHRISTMAS
ANGELS

Christmas Angels brings our community together to help make the holiday season brighter for local children. Participants select a gift tag from a tree at a participating location, purchase the requested gift, and return it to Rotary so we can make sure it reaches the child it was chosen for.

Taking part is a simple but meaningful way to share joy with a family in our community. By choosing a tag, donating a gift, or helping spread the word, you can help ensure more local children feel remembered, valued, and celebrated at Christmas.

YOUTH
ENGAGEMENT

We partner with local Scout groups and other youth organizations to provide encouragement, educational opportunities, and meaningful connections with respected leaders throughout our community. These experiences help young people build confidence, learn new skills, and see the many ways they can make a positive difference.

We also support Shop with a Cop, a special program that pairs local children with police officers and deputies for a holiday shopping experience. Community support helps make these moments possible, and we encourage individuals and businesses to take part by volunteering, donating, or helping spread the word.

DOG - O- RAMA

Dog-O-Rama is one of the Long Beach Peninsula’s most playful community events, bringing together dogs, their people, live entertainment, competitions, and plenty of opportunities to have fun. The annual celebration includes activities such as dog contests, performance events, walks, games, music, and a biergarten, making it a lively weekend for locals and visitors alike.

Rotary is proud to take part each year by helping with the Dog-O-Rama Biergarten. Our volunteers help make the event enjoyable and welcoming, while a portion of the proceeds supports our local Rotary club and the work we do for youth throughout the Long Beach Peninsula and Pacific County.

So when you stop by the Biergarten, you’re doing more than enjoying a great community event—you’re also helping support programs that benefit local young people. It’s a fun example of how Rotary brings people together, supports community events, and turns good times into something that gives back.
